Christmas in NYC 2015

If you read my post from last Christmas, you'll know I'm a Christmas enthusiast. I LOVE Christmas. I LIVE for Christmas. I am the person who's Christmas lights go up in October and come down in April, and who watches Love Actually and listens to Michael Buble's Christmas album in the middle of July. Naturally I die a little bit when NYC whips out the insane Christmas decorations and window displays to celebrate the holiday season, so spending Christmas there again was a dream come true.

I have to admit that I probably have more photos of the unreal window displays and lights from our trip than I do of my family. Anyways, I decided to compile a bunch of the photos again so you can admire the displays and maybe be inspired to make the totally worthwhile, although slightly chaotic, trip to NYC during the holiday season sometime in the future!

Bergdorf Goodman

These displays are made out of THOUSANDS of Swarovski crystals. No photos will do them justice, but here's my attempt to do so. I literally cannot imagine creating these; kudos to whoever did.

Saks Fifth Avenue: The Winter Palace

I'm not going to lie these were a little creepy despite the fact that they were literally stunning. Again, I have no idea who designs these windows but WOW.

Saks Fifth Avenue: Around the World

I'm sure you can tell from the name that these windows were inspired from places/landmarks from around the world (the Great Barrier Reef, the Great Wall of China, etc.). Saks' windows are always just so pretty. I have honestly never felt that the word "pretty" applies to anything more than it does to their holiday window displays. They're just so delicate and sparkly and perfect.

Tiffany and Co.

These were miniature displays and I think there was a line of about 20 people waiting to take photos of them. I'm literally just obsessed with these. No further comments.

Valentino

100% my favourite window display, and use of the ever-so-popular neon signage that's been popping up everywhere. I will Instagram this at some point this year when I start having Christmas withdrawal; I can guarantee that.
